Ilya Fedorov

Ilya Fedorov is an accomplished drilling engineer with over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at ADNOC Group as a drilling engineer since January 2021, Ilya is seconded to ADNOC Upstream from LUKOIL for the Ghasha Concession development. Prior to this role, Ilya spent nearly nine years at LUKOIL Overseas Service B.V. as a senior drilling engineer, overseeing multiple exploration projects in Iraq, West Africa, Vietnam, and Romania, and executing drilling programs from planning to abandonment. Ilya's earlier experience includes significant positions at Baker Hughes, where responsibilities encompassed leading a drilling engineering team, and Halliburton as an MLWD engineer. Ilya began the professional journey at ФГУП "Арктикморнефтегазразведка" as a junior drilling engineer. Academic credentials include a Master's degree from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and a Bachelor's degree from Murmansk State Technical University, both specializing in petroleum engineering and offshore oil and gas fields development.
