Guang-Jie Ren

Guang-Jie Ren is a seasoned professional in machine learning and research management with extensive experience in leading innovative projects and teams across notable companies. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Manager at Adobe since October 2024, Guang-Jie previously worked at IBM from August 2009 to October 2024, holding titles including Senior Research Manager and Principal Research Scientist. During this time, Guang-Jie led the development of environments for IBM's Large Language Model and Generative AI initiatives and spearheaded projects that resulted in significant user and business impacts. Additionally, Guang-Jie has a strong educational background, holding a PhD in Engineering and Management from the University of Cambridge, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in Management Science and Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University, respectively.
