Kathleen Emma has a diverse work experience. Kathleen started as a Research Assistant at the McCarthy Center in 2004 before becoming a New Media Intern at KCET in 2005. In 2006, they worked as the Editor in Chief at San Francisco Foghorn, where they led a team of peers in producing a student newspaper. Kathleen then joined ADR Services, Inc. in 2006 as the Director of Operations. In 2009, they became the Volunteer Advocacy Committee Lead Coordinator for San Francisco at the World Food Program USA, raising funds and organizing events.
Kathleen Emma obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco, where they studied Media Studies, Journalism, and Gender & Sexualities Studies. Kathleen attended the university from 2002 to 2006.
