Dr. Kamran Shoaei

Dr. Kamran Shoaei has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of education and academia. Dr. Kamran started their career in 2004 as an online facilitator-instructor at LSCS and later joined University of Phoenix as a visiting professor and Chairman for the College of Natural Science. In 2006, they joined DeVry University where they held various roles such as Assistant Professor, Science Lab Manager, and Department Chairman for the College of Health Sciences. During their time at DeVry, they were also involved with curriculum development, implementing innovative teaching methods, and managing science labs. In 2016, Dr. Shoaei joined Chamberlain University as a Visiting Professor, Associate Professor, and subsequently served as the Dean of General Education and the Dean of Faculty. Dr. Kamran also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Sierra College starting in 2018. Currently, they are employed as an Associate Professor at Folsom Lake College. In addition to their teaching roles, Dr. Shoaei has also held leadership positions at Adtalem Global Education, serving as President, Vice President, Provost, Dean, Leader, Manager, and Administrator since 2006. Through their work experience, Dr. Shoaei has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, curriculum development, and creating an enriching learning environment.

Dr. Kamran Shoaei, EdD, MD, MBA has an extensive education history. Dr. Kamran obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Higher Education from Northcentral University in the years 2015 to 2018. In 1998, they began pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at Universidad Iberoamericana, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Dr. Kamran also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at De Anza College California from 1990 to 1994. Dr. Kamran also holds additional certifications such as Master Instructor II from Adtalem Global Education, obtained in 2022, and LEADS certification obtained in 2018.
