Deidre Washington

Deidre Washington, PhD, has a diverse work experience in various research and leadership roles. Deidre is currently serving as the Director of Health Equity at AdvaMed since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Integrity Specialist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research from January 2022 to March 2023. From August 2019 to December 2021, Deidre worked as a Research Scientist in Performance Measurement at NCQA. Deidre also served as a Research Project Director at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America from August 2016 to July 2019. Before that, they gained experience as a Research Associate at Adventist HealthCare from October 2010 to August 2016.

Deidre Washington PhD completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University from 1996 to 2000. Deidre then pursued their PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Deidre obtained a certification in "Top 10 Rules for Highly Effective Leadership" from LinkedIn in 2023.
