Dong Shou

Dong Shou has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Dong is currently the Co-founder & CEO of ADVANCE.AI, a leading big data and AI startup in Southeast Asia, which specializes in digital transformation for the financial and retail industry. Before that, they were a Partner at Wecash, a reputable Fintech startup in Beijing, where they helped grow and manage the tech/product team and initiated Wecash's South East Asia business. Dong Shou also has experience at Amazon Web Services as a Software Engineer, working on high-performance in-memory distributed cache in the AWS cloud, and at Amazon as a Summer Intern, where they worked on developing MapReduce jobs on HBase/Hadoop cluster. Additionally, Dong Shou has a research background, having worked as a Research Assistant at Penn State University and Tsinghua University, where they contributed to projects related to location-based social networks and semantic web service retrieval.

Dong Shou completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology Beijing between 2002 and 2006. They went on to pursue a Master's degree in Software Engineering at Tsinghua University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Following this, Dong Shou attended Penn State University from 2009 to 2011, earning another Master's degree, this time in Computer Science & Engineering. Prior to their college education, they attended Zhuji Middle school, although no specific dates or degrees were mentioned.
