Jiangbo Yu

Jiangbo Yu has had several roles throughout their work experience. Jiangbo started as an Intern at Microsoft in 2009. Jiangbo then worked as a Research Assistant at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre from 2013 to 2015, focusing on machine learning research. Jiangbo joined KAI Square in 2016 as a Video Content Analytic Engineer, where they developed and implemented various computer vision techniques for the company's projects. In 2017, they became the Video Content Analytic Engineer Lead at KAI Square, responsible for designing and implementing embedded video analytic systems and GPU-based object detection algorithms. Jiangbo then briefly worked as a Senior Lead VCA Engineer at NCS Group in late 2017 before joining ADVANCE.AI in 2018. At ADVANCE.AI, they started as a Data Scientist and later became the AI R&D Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Artificial Intelligence at ADVANCE.AI.

Jiangbo Yu pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2005 to 2009 at Peking University. Following this, they enrolled as a Graduate Student in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore from 2009 to 2013.
