Clarissa Moran-Herrera

Clarissa Moran-Herrera has a diverse work experience in various industries. Clarissa began their career at The Buckle, Inc. as a Bilingual Sales Associate in 2015. In 2016, they joined In-Shape Health Clubs as a Kids Zone Attendant before being promoted to Kids Zone Lead in 2018. At In-Shape, they supervised a team and organized activities for children of various age groups. In 2019, Clarissa joined Lulus.com as a Customer Service Representative where they provided exceptional customer service and developed solutions for customer needs. Currently, they work at Advance Behavioral Therapies as a Registered Behavior Technician, assisting in teaching social, language, and practical life skills to children on the autism spectrum. Clarissa also collects data and implements behavior plans organized by a BCBA. In addition, they briefly served as a Lead Behavior Technician at Advance Behavioral Therapies before assuming their current role as an ABA Program Manager in April 2022.

Clarissa Moran-Herrera has a diverse education history. Clarissa obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Special Education: Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they attended California State University, Chico from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Latin American Studies and a second BA degree in History Pre-Credential. Before transferring to Chico State, Clarissa pursued their Associate of Arts (AA) degrees in Liberal Arts & Behavioral Sciences and Spanish Language and Literature at College of the Canyons from 2015 to 2018.

In addition to their educational achievements, Clarissa also holds several certifications. Clarissa obtained their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in October 2021. Moreover, they received their CPR & AED certification from the American Red Cross in April 2021.
