Brian Burdorf

Brian Burdorf started their work experience in 2003 as a Systems Administrator at Account Management Services where they configured Cisco routers and Watchguard firewalls for multi-site MPLS networks. Brian also set up Microsoft Terminal Services for user access and configured Altigen PBX systems for branch offices.

In 2005, Brian moved to Osmose where they worked as a Systems Administrator, deploying and maintaining VMware infrastructure in a multi-cluster environment with over 1,200 virtual machines. Brian also maintained Exchange 2003 servers serving 5,000 mailboxes.

In 2007, Brian joined Advance 2000 as the Director of Technology. Here, they designed and implemented virtualization solutions using VMware ESX/ESXi and fiber channel and iSCSI. Brian also configured, optimized, and maintained enterprise storage systems including EMC VNX/Clariion, HP EVA/3par. Additionally, Brian configured Veeam for virtual machine backups.

Brian's work experience demonstrates their expertise in systems administration, virtualization, network configuration, and server maintenance.

Brian Burdorf earned an Associate's Degree in Information Systems from ITT Technical Institute-Getzville in 2004, and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Security from ITT Technical Institute in 2006. In terms of certifications, they obtained Network+ from CompTIA in November 2010, VCP310 from VMware in August 2007, MCTS - Windows Server Virtualization, Configuration from Microsoft in July 2011, and VCP5-DCV from VMware in December 2013.
