Dr. Andreas Poschenrieder

Associate Director RLT Partnerships, Global RLT HCS & Partnerships at Advanced Accelerator Applications

Dr. Andreas Poschenrieder has extensive work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. Dr. Andreas currently holds the position of Associate Director RLT Partnerships, Global RLT HCS & Partnerships at Advanced Accelerator Applications, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Global Medical Director for Prostate Cancer, GMA at the same company from May 2022 to February 2023. Before joining Advanced Accelerator Applications, Dr. Poschenrieder worked at Novartis as a Medical Advisor on an international assignment in Geneva, CH from July 2020 to December 2020. Dr. Andreas also completed the Novartis Medical Trainee Graduate Program from March 2019 to June 2020. Earlier in their career, Dr. Poschenrieder worked at Klinikum rechts der Isar der TU Munchen as the Head of Research Laboratory Clinical Chemistry and Pathobiochemistry from October 2017 to January 2019, and was involved in GMP Production and Quality Control of Radiopharmaceuticals from August 2016 to February 2017. Dr. Andreas also conducted research and completed their PhD in Pharmaceutical Radiochemistry at Technische Universitat Munchen from May 2013 to October 2017, and undertook a research stay at Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya from September 2015 to December 2015.

Dr. Andreas Poschenrieder received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Regensburg in 2010. Dr. Andreas then went on to further their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Regensburg in 2012. In 2011, they also did a Master's Thesis as part of their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas. Subsequently, they pursued their interest in Pharmaceutical Radiochemistry/Nuclear Medicine and completed a PhD (Dr.rer.nat) from the Technical University of Munich in 2017. Additionally, in 2009, they studied Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology at the University of Bath, although no specific degree was mentioned for this period.
