Dean Swan

Dean Swan is a seasoned Senior DSP Research Engineer at Advanced Bionics, specializing in algorithm development for audio processing and cochlear implant sound coding strategies since October 2014. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Audio DSP Engineer at Vidyo, where high-quality multi-channel audio solutions were designed, and as a Senior DSP Engineer at TalkSwitch, focusing on voice codec implementation. Dean also contributed to DSP solutions for wideband VoIP audio echo control at Magor Communications Systems and developed DSP algorithms for TDM, ATM, and VoIP systems during a long tenure at Mitel Networks. Dean's educational background includes studies at Clarkson University from 1985 to 1987.
