Brigitte L. Maxey

Brigitte L. Maxey oversees communications strategy for internal and external stakeholders including employees, customers, business partners, public officials, and the general public. She brings more than 20 years’ worth of experience to her role in which she oversees all aspects of corporate relations.

Maxey joined ADV in 2015 as a senior communications specialist on contract with the U.S. Department of Treasury. Remaining with ADV, she later worked as a technical writer/editor for the U.S. Department of Commerce where she received letters of commendation for strategic communications solutions she delivered to the Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Prior to joining ADV, Maxey served as a chief of staff in the Michigan State Senate where she managed legislative priorities in addition to communications, outreach, and programming for 140,000 residents. She draws upon this experience to craft and implements communications strategies for ADV.
