Kim Jemaine

Policy Director, East at Advanced Energy United

Kim Jemaine has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental and political advocacy. In 2015, they worked as a Field Organizer for the Democratic Party of Virginia. In 2016, Kim held multiple roles including Field Organizer for Bernie 2016, Lead Field Organizer at Acadia Consulting, LLC, and Volunteer Coordinator at Higher Achievement. From 2018 to 2020, Kim worked for the Virginia League of Conservation Voters as a Public Policy Manager and later as a Public Policy and Communications Associate. They then became the Virginia Director at the Chesapeake Climate Action Network from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Kim serves as the Policy Director, East at Advanced Energy United since 2022.

Kim Jemaine began their education journey in 2009 at the University of Mary Washington, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs. They successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2013. After a break, Kim resumed their education in 2017 at Regent University. They pursued a Master of Arts in Government, with a specialization in Law and Public Policy, and successfully completed their postgraduate studies in 2019.
