Nathan Willcox

Nathan Willcox has extensive experience in the field of clean energy and climate advocacy. Nathan currently serves as a Board Member for the Alliance for Clean Energy New York. Previously, Nathan worked as the Managing Director for Advanced Energy United, overseeing state-level policy work in the eastern region of the U.S.

Nathan has also held positions as a Board Member for Interfaith Power & Light, where they contributed to inspiring and mobilizing people of faith and conscience to take action on climate change. Nathan served as a Strategic Consultant and Deputy Director for EVHybridNoire, overseeing internal and external work to help the organization expand and advance its mission of promoting electric vehicles and e-mobility equity.

Additionally, Nathan worked as a Strategic Consultant for various advocacy groups and foundations in the climate and clean energy community, providing assistance with strategic planning, program development, communications, and grant-seeking. Nathan also served as the Deputy Director and Manager for the Climate Advocacy Lab, where they led a team, oversaw program work, and secured significant foundation support.

Earlier in their career, Nathan worked as the Co-Creator and Manager for the Climate Advocacy Lab within the Skoll Global Threats Fund, where they collaborated with advocates and researchers to support evidence-based advocacy on climate change. Nathan also served as the Federal Global Warming Program Director for Environment America and the Energy & Clean Air Advocate for PennEnvironment.
