Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez has extensive experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on senior leadership positions. Jose currently holds the role of Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Operations at Advanced Energy since January 2024. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President Manufacturing at Bloom Energy from July 2022 to January 2024.

Jose'sprevious experience includes roles at ON Semiconductor, where they served as Vice President, Global Assembly/Test Operations from March 2021 to June 2022. Jose also held the positions of Vice President of Manufacturing from May 2018 to March 2021, Senior Director, General Manager from April 2013 to May 2018, Director, Global Supply Chain Operations from August 2007 to March 2013, and Director, Global Manufacturing Planning and Infrastructure from April 2003 to August 2007. Additionally, at ON Semiconductor, they worked as a General Manager responsible for the closure of operations in Mexico from February 2002 to March 2003, and as a Procurement and Logistics Manager from August 1999 to January 2002.

Jose Hernandez also gained experience at Motorola, where they worked as a Supply Management and Supplier Quality Engineering professional from February 1996 to July 1999. In addition, they served as a Professor at ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, teaching courses in advanced industrial engineering from August 1996 to June 1999.

Jose Hernandez earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in 1994. Jose later pursued an Executive MBA in Business Administration from IPADE Business School from 1999-2001. Jose also completed a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 2004-2005.
