Michael Bepristis

Michael Bepristis has a strong background in tax and finance, with experience in various leadership roles. Michael has worked as the Director, Tax at Advanced Energy, where they were responsible for global tax provision and income tax contingencies. Michael also played a key role in acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition purchase accounting. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Tax Manager at Summit Materials, where they identified and prepared remediation of significant year-end and interim provision reporting items. Michael also worked as the Director - Income Tax at Stantec, Inc., where they managed global tax provision, US income tax compliance, and led a team of direct reports. Michael has also held the position of Director, Tax at Level 3 Communications, where they were responsible for global tax provision and US income tax compliance. Additionally, they have worked as a Tax Senior Associate at Ernst & Young and as a Tax Manager at KPMG, where they gained experience in tax compliance, tax provisions, and tax research.

Michael Bepristis completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting at Old Dominion University from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business at Questrom School of Business, Boston University from 1993 to 1996. In 1997 to 1998, they furthered their studies with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Telecommunications at the University of Colorado Boulder.
