Alyssa Menzenwerth

Alyssa Menzenwerth has a diverse work experience that spans over several roles and companies. Alyssa'smost recent position was as the Director of Nursing Operations for Remote Patient Monitoring at Advanced Healthcare. In this role, they focused on developing RPM workflows and protocols to enhance patient care and engagement, collaborating with the IT team to improve the RPM application, and identifying gaps in platform utilization.

Before Advanced Healthcare, Alyssa worked as a Field Reviewer at Change Healthcare. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Program Implementation at Perigon Health 360, where they developed and implemented clinical protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, and workflows for enhanced provider and patient engagement. Alyssa also played a role in creating a culture of daily monitoring for patients enrolled in RPM and RTM programs.

A significant part of Alyssa's work experience was at Specialists On Call, Inc. Here, they served as a Director and focused on developing and maintaining clinical workflows for telemedicine services in Neurology and Critical Care. Alyssa also provided QA/QI guidance, developed training programs, and worked with call center staff to improve call quality and resolve client queries.

Before Specialists On Call, Inc., Alyssa worked as a Telephone Triage Nurse, performing telephone triage for Neurology and Critical Care patients. Additionally, they have prior experience as an RN at Inova Loudoun Hospital, where they worked in various roles within the Emergency Department, providing leadership and mentoring to staff while ensuring optimal patient care.

Alyssa also has experience as an Instructor at Loudoun County Fire & Rescue, where they trained and educated others in emergency response. Prior to that, they worked as a Paramedic at Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad, providing advanced life support treatment to patients and mentoring students in obtaining their certifications. Alyssa also served as a Flight RN at Air Trek, Inc., where they provided medical care during flights.

Throughout their career, Alyssa has demonstrated a strong focus on patient care, developing protocols and workflows, improving operational procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance healthcare delivery.

Alyssa Menzenwerth's education history includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Marymount University. Alyssa also has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Virginia Tech.
