Peter Wilkinson

Peter Wilkinson has over 15 years of experience in various roles related to regulatory affairs and scientific compliance in the tobacco industry. Peter currently serves as the Head of Science at AIR (Advanced Inhalation Rituals), where they advise on scientific policy and regulatory strategy. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Al Fakher Tobacco, leading the company's engagement with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with emerging regulations. Additionally, Peter has experience managing their own consulting firm and working at Imperial Brands PLC, where they held various roles including Technical Regulation Compliance Manager and Regulatory Scientist. Peter also gained experience in medical research and laboratory work at FRAME and the Public Health Laboratory Service earlier in their career.

Peter Wilkinson obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from De Montfort University from 1999 to 2002. Later, from 2002 to 2005, they pursued a PhD in the Development of an in vitro model to investigate repeat ocular exposure at the University of Nottingham.
