Avinash Mehta

Avinash Mehta is a seasoned Software System Design Engineer currently employed at AMD since April 2024. Prior to this role, Avinash held the position of Principal Software Design Engineer at Imagination Technologies from November 2021 to March 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing RISC-V CPU performance models and leading a team for design issue resolutions. Previous experience includes a tenure at Arm from November 2015 to November 2021, during which Avinash contributed to the development of reference software for the Arm Total Compute Platform and integration of various processors, including Cortex-A32 and Cortex-M systems. Earlier in career, Avinash was associated with Synopsys from July 2011 to November 2015, focusing on virtual prototyping of processor models and Instruction Set Simulators. Avinash holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, New Delhi.
