Tarun Goyal is a Senior Member of Technical Staff - Memory at AMD since July 2023, specializing in the integration, characterization, and debugging of Memory PHYs across various segments, including Mobile and Client, while working with multiple memory technologies such as DDR5 and LPDDR5. Previously, Goyal served as the iPhone Hardware Lead at Apple from September 2021 to June 2023, overseeing system-level electrical validation for iPhones from prototype to launch. Prior to that, Goyal held roles at NXP Semiconductors, including Senior Design Engineer, where responsibilities included automotive microcontroller post-silicon validation and leading new product introduction (NPI) analog validation. Goyal's earlier experience includes work as a Product Development Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor focusing on validating analog modules, as well as a Graphic Validation Intern at Intel Corporation. Goyal also has experience as a teaching assistant at San Jose State University and an intern at Innovative Instruments. Goyal holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University and an undergraduate degree from Nirma Institute of Technology.
