Katy Bonnstetter

Katy Bonnstetter currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Advanced Pain Care, the second largest specialty medical group in back pain management in the United States. Prior to this role, Katy held various positions at UnitedHealth Group, including Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing compliance and legal counsel for emerging businesses and regulatory requirements related to artificial intelligence and machine learning. Katy also led legal efforts in the Shared Services Transactions Department and managed counsel for Medicaid and Dual Special Needs Plans. Earlier experience includes serving as Lead Counsel for United Behavioral Health at Optum and providing business and regulatory legal services at Halleland Lewis Nilan, Sipkins & Johnson, P.A. Katy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School.
