Maryam Ziaei is the Director of Technology Transfer and Transition (T3X) and a Senior Advisor at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) since October 2023. As a mentor for the Emergence Program at Stanford University since 2022, Maryam has also co-founded iSono Health, which focuses on an AI-driven platform for women's health addressing breast cancer detection. Maryam's expertise spans various roles, including reviewer for the NIH SBIR/STTR program, involvement in medtech innovation at TMCx5, and participation in the Y Combinator Class of 2016. Previous positions include Senior Staff MEMS Engineer at Systron Donner, Staff MEMS Engineer at IDT, and postdoctoral scholar at Sandia National Laboratories. Maryam obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, following a Master’s from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s from Arizona State University.
