Jake Perez

Jake Perez is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and research. Currently serving as the Manager of Research and Development at Advanced Thermovoltaic Systems since August 2021, Jake has previously held positions as an Electrical and Research Engineer. At the University of Colorado Boulder, Jake contributed as an Adjunct Instructor and Teaching Assistant in the electrical engineering senior design lab from August 2019 to October 2021, where responsibilities included providing feedback on technical documentation and designs. Jake's experience also includes working as a Research Assistant at the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute, collaborating with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on perovskite and OPV thin film photovoltaic research. Jake holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, Jake served as Head Lifeguard at the YMCA of the USA from September 2015 to February 2020, where skills in CPR and lifeguarding were imparted.
