Vivek Somasundaram

Vivek Somasundaram currently serves as Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Advanced Utility Systems, where the focus is on delivering Customer Information and Billing solutions to utilities across various regions. Previously, Vivek held the position of Senior Product Manager at Survalent, responsible for developing product strategies and driving market requirements. As Market Development Manager at Opus One Solutions, involvement centered on promoting GridOS™, enhancing grid reliability and efficiency. Early career experiences include roles at Schneider Electric targeting the water and wastewater sector, as well as at Bell and MDA, where significant contributions included facilitating 4G/5G technology launches and developing software for the Hubble Space Telescope mission. Vivek holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business and a B.A.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
