Megan O'Meara

Megan O'Meara has a strong background in corporate strategy, development, and management consulting. Megan started their career at BASF in 2007, where they held various roles, including New Business Development Manager and Market Development Manager. Megan then became the Manager of Global Cathode Strategy, Battery Materials, leading a cross-functional team and supporting capital projects. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Strategy Manager, Energy Storage, where they monitored markets, analyzed business drivers, and provided strategic recommendations to senior leadership. From 2015 to 2016, Megan served as the Strategy Execution Manager, overseeing the implementation of key strategies. Megan later became the Head of BASF Management Consulting North America from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, Megan joined AdvanSix as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development, where they played a crucial role in guiding the company's transformation and cultivating customer relationships. Megan then transitioned to the role of Vice President, Fiber & Filament Segment - Nylon Solutions, where they spearheaded a business transformation, prioritizing customer engagement and new customer development. Megan facilitated change and innovation within the commercial and broader business operations teams.

Megan O'Meara received their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Sociology from the University of Arizona in the years 1995-2000. Megan pursued further education and completed their Ph.D. in Chemistry at The University of Alabama from 2001 to 2005. Megan later earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Pace University - Lubin School of Business between 2008 and 2010.
