Emma Yao

Emma Yao is currently working as an Emergency Medical Technician at Advantage Ambulance where Emma provides basic patient care and life support during transport. Emma also communicates with nurses and patients to obtain medical histories and has documented over 150 electronic patient care reports. Additionally, Emma assists RNs with CCT calls and trauma calls. Emma is also a Chemistry Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader at the Teaching + Learning Commons at UC San Diego, where Emma facilitates group learning sessions for fundamental chemistry courses. Emma holds two 80-minute sessions per week and encourages collaborative engagement with course material. Emma is currently pursuing their education at UC San Diego after completing their high school at New Hampton School.
