Ted Phillips

Ted Phillips is an experienced IIoT Solutions Architect and Field Applications Engineer at Advantech B+B SmartWorx since October 2014, specializing in IoT products, including the Wzzard wireless mesh network platform and Spectre Cellular products. Prior to this role, Ted was the owner of TNPNet Inc, offering high technology solutions in various sectors such as mobile connectivity and streaming video, from March 2002 to October 2014. Experience also includes serving as Vice President of Research & Development at Responder Systems LLC and R&D Manager at TechAlt Inc, where secure communication systems were developed for critical sectors. Earlier career roles at Powers Process Controls, EIL Instruments, R.E. Law Instruments, and Western Electric involved technical engineering, product design, and application support, showcasing a robust background in electronics and engineering. Ted has completed a certificate in IoT System Design from Telit deviceWISE University.
