Amit Patel

Amit Patel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Their most recent role was as the VP of Technology & Innovation at Advantmed, where they managed the infrastructure and delivery of secure solutions. Amit also oversaw global IT infrastructure and operations. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Software Development, India at Casting Networks, Inc., where they managed the software development life cycle of consumer-facing mobile applications. And earlier in their career, they worked at Datafied as a Project Manager, Sr. Software Developer, and Software Developer, guiding and directing the SDLCs of business software applications.

Amit Patel attended DeVry University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Computer Science with a focus on CIS (Computer Information Systems). In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2009. Most recently, in June 2021, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In February 2023, they earned two certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals from Microsoft and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, also from Microsoft.
