Aravind Thayat

Aravind Thayat has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Aravind started their career at Essar Steel as a Graduate Engineering Trainee in 2008. Aravind then worked as an Assistant Manager at Nambi General Trading F.Z.C before taking on a Summer Internship role at Arvind Limited in 2012. In 2013, they joined Chemplast Sanmar Limited as a Deputy Executive Manager, where they successfully managed sales and marketing of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and contributed to strategic projects. From 2016 to 2019, Aravind held the position of Head of Strategy & Operations at CNA TEX PROCESSORS PRIVATE LIMITED. Aravind then served as a Summer Intern at SCZ Consulting Company in 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Supply Chain & Analytics Intern at ADVATIX - Advanced Supply Chain and Logistics before advancing to the role of Senior Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager, Director, and eventually Vice President of Strategy & Analytics within the same company. Currently, they are also a Vice President of Strategy & Analytics at Archway Marketing Services. Aravind also gained teaching and research experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they participated in the SMU Venture Capital Practicum at Dallas Venture Capital in 2021.

Aravind Thayat completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, specializing in Supply Chain & Operations, Business Analytics & Finance, from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Marketing & Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli between 2011 and 2013. Aravind also holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, which they completed from 2004 to 2008. Earlier in their education, they completed the All India Senior School Certificate Examination from Delhi Private School Sharjah in 2004 and the All India Secondary School Examination from The Emirates National School in 2002.
