Bill Vanderpool

Bill Vanderpool is the Director of Pharmacy at Adventist HealthCare, overseeing operations for the Shady Grove Medical Center and Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital pharmacy departments since October 2022. With extensive experience in pharmacy leadership, Vanderpool has held roles such as Facilitator for the Pharmacy Leadership & Education Institute, Director of Special Projects at Sheppard Pratt, and Sr. Director at Shields Health Solutions, where expertise in developing pharmacy services and engaging stakeholders has been demonstrated. Previous positions include Director of Pharmacy at MedStar Harbor Hospital and regional leadership roles in major pharmaceutical organizations. Vanderpool holds a Master of Science in Health System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Oregon State University.
