Elizabeth C.

Elizabeth C. has a diverse work experience in the field of research and healthcare administration. Elizabeth began their career in 2003 as a Program Coordinator and Research Assistant at American University. From there, they worked as a Pediatric CIRB Coordinator and Site Support Specialist at Chesapeake IRB.

Elizabeth then joined The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine as a Regulatory Affairs Assistant before becoming an IRB Analyst at Children's National Hospital.

In 2008, Elizabeth joined Boston Children's Hospital as an Institutional Review Board (IRB) Administrator/Alternate IRB Member. Elizabeth later served as the Quality Assurance Manager at Chesapeake IRB (now Advarra).

In 2013, Elizabeth joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Human Subjects Protection Scientist II. Finally, they currently hold the role of Program Director, Ethics Program and IRB Administrator at Adventist HealthCare.

Elizabeth C. holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Boston University. Elizabeth also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Maryland. In addition, they have certifications including Certified IRB Professional (CIP), Healthcare Ethics Consultant-certified from the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities, and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB).
