Kathryn Smith Acsm- Cep

Kathryn Smith ACSM-CEP has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kathryn worked as a Cardiovascular Technician at Frederick Memorial Hospital from May 2011 to November 2011. Kathryn then joined Adventist HealthCare in October 2013, where they held the positions of Lead Exercise Physiologist and later Exercise Physiologist. During their time at Adventist HealthCare, Kathryn was responsible for orienting new staff, educating staff and patients on exercise prescription, monitoring patient responses to exercise, and implementing new safety standards during COVID-19. Kathryn also served as an Internship Coordinator and Co-Chair for the Purple Star Award. Kathryn's most recent role was as Clinical Coordinator CardioPulmonary Rehab at MedStar Health from June 2022 to November 2022. Kathryn is currently serving as the Manager of Preventive Cardiology at Frederick Health, starting in November 2022.
