Jeanne Parson

Jeanne Parson is a semi-retired professional with extensive experience in audio design and music composition, currently transitioning from over a decade in key roles at Microsoft, including Principal and Senior Audio Group Manager. Promoted to Principal in 2016, Jeanne specializes in the design of synthetic voices for text-to-speech applications. Prior to Microsoft, Jeanne held significant positions at LeapFrog Enterprises as Director of Music & Audio and Principal Composer, where responsibilities included overseeing audio creation for educational toys and integrating music into interactive designs. Jeanne's career also spans work with Atari Games as a composer for arcade video games and as a songwriter, composer, and publisher at Jeanne Parson / Rage On Records. Jeanne holds a Master of Fine Arts in Electronic Music from Mills College and a Bachelor of Arts in Music-Piano from California State University, Fresno.
