Joachim Roos

Joachim has close to 30 years experience from leading positions and as an entrepreneur in tech startups in computer systems, microelectronics, service provider networks, TV, broadcast and video streaming. Joachim has a long experience raising capital from the international VC community, at times under challenging macro economic circumstances. Most recently, Joachim co-founded the video streaming infrastructure company Edgeware (NASDAQ:OMX). He held the position as CEO for 13 years through all phases from early ideas and raising initial capital to becoming an international business with a turnover in excess of SEK 250 million and a successful IPO on the main list on the Stockholm stock exchange. Joachim has a Licentiate of Science in Computer Engineering with a focus on computer systems and micro electronics, from Lund Institute of Technology. He also has a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Lund.
