Bill McVay

Bill McVay is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Principal at Red Tortoise LLC since May 2017 and as an Independent Trustee at AdvisorShares since March 2011, Bill demonstrates strong governance and strategic oversight. Previously, Bill was the Managing Partner at RDK Strategies from January 2007 to May 2017, and held significant positions at Zephyr Associates, Inc. as Vice-President from 2001 to 2005, Legg Mason as First Vice-President from 1988 to 2000, and Shearson Lehman Hutton as Vice-President from 1983 to 1988. Bill McVay earned a Bachelor of Music Education (BME) degree from Southeast Missouri State University from 1972 to 1976.
