Betsy Winga

Betsy Winga, MD/MBA, currently serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) and Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at Advocate Aurora Health, a position held since January 2018. Prior to this role, Betsy Winga worked as a Physician at Aurora Health Care from September 2005 to January 2018 and completed a residency at Spectrum Health from July 2001 to August 2005. Betsy Winga holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from West Texas A&M University, earned between August 2019 and August 2021, as well as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, obtained from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Betsy Winga earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iowa State University, completed from 1993 to 1997.
