Alan Marzilli

Alan Marzilli is a highly experienced professional with a focus on public health regulations and mental health program implementation. Currently serving as a Senior Program Associate and Senior Writer at Advocates for Human Potential since September 2013, Alan develops regulations for the cannabis industry and creates materials for mental health and substance use treatment programs. Prior experience includes roles as a Proposal and Technical Writer for Advocates for Human Potential, Inc., and a Senior Writer where Alan contributed to initiatives supporting individuals with disabilities. As a self-employed writer and editor of juvenile nonfiction, Alan authored 15 books on public policy issues and provided consulting services. Alan holds a J.D. from Georgetown University and two degrees in English from Emory University.
