Izzy Scholes-Young is a dedicated advocate with extensive experience in research, program coordination, and disability advocacy. Currently serving as a Research Intern at the National Alliance to End Homelessness, Izzy also holds the position of Free The Pill Youth Council Organizer at Advocates for Youth, where efforts to support FDA approval of contraceptives have been prominent. Prior roles include Program Coordinator at Everybody Eats DC, co-founding the American University Disabled Student Union, and interning for Senator Ariana Kelly in the Maryland General Assembly, where research on critical policy issues was conducted. With a background in facilitating resource redistribution, organizing events, and engaging in disability studies research, Izzy is committed to social justice and community support. Education has been pursued at American University, reserved for completion in 2024.
