Derek Hinkle

Derek Hinkle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Derek is currently working as a Backend Developer at AdvoLogix since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from May 2019 to September 2021. Before pursuing a career in technology and education, Derek gained experience in the culinary field as a Culinarian at Mac's Fine Foods from January 2017 to July 2019. Derek also worked as a Land Survey Technician at Appalachian Surveying Consultants, P.A. from August 2016 to January 2017 and as a Property Preservation Specialist at Wanda Gibson Real Estate from January 2016 to August 2016. Additionally, Derek has experience as a Craftsman at Sugar Mountain Woodworks Inc. from November 2015 to January 2016, and as an Automotive Detailer at Bachman Bernard Auto Mall from June 2006 to August 2015.

Derek Hinkle completed their education with a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from East Tennessee State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Derek earned an Associate's degree in Philosophy from Northeast State Community College between 2009 and 2011.
