Toru Kawase

Toru Kawase is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in leading marketing initiatives across various sectors in Japan. Currently serving as Marketing Team Lead at Adyen since November 2024, Toru is focused on expanding the company's market presence in Japan. Prior roles include Marketing Director at Gainsight, where contributions were pivotal to establishing the Japan business, and Director, Head of Marketing for Tableau Japan at Salesforce, overseeing comprehensive marketing functions as part of the Japan Leadership Team. Additionally, Toru spent over twelve years at Microsoft in various marketing management roles, including Senior Manager of Field Marketing, and began the career as Assistant Manager of Product Marketing at Networld Corporation. Toru holds a Master of Social Science in International History from The London School of Economics and Political Science, completed in 1999.
