Walter Adams

Walter Adams possesses extensive experience in security systems design, currently serving as a Senior Security Systems Design Practitioner at AECOM since September 2006. In this role, Walter leads the design of CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems, with a specialization in Security/IT convergence and enterprise-class solutions, including VMware-based systems. Prior to AECOM, Walter held positions as Manager of the New York Office and Senior Security Consultant at Sako and Associates from 2001 to 2006, and as Director of the Security Systems Design Group at Electronic Systems Associates from 1994 to 2000. Additional experience includes project management at SMS from 1994 to 1998. Walter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Southern Connecticut State University, earned between 1967 and 1971.
