Karan Dharaiya

Karan Dharaiya has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Engineer Intern at Kentz, a member of the SNC Lavalin Group. In 2016, they became a Graduate Process Engineer at the same company. Karan then joined Climate-KIC in 2020, where they participated in the EIT Climate-KIC Journey 2020 summer school program. After that, Karan worked at BWSC A/S, where they held two roles: as an Engineer in Green Energy Solutions from October 2021 to April 2022, and as a Product Manager from April 2022 to February 2023. Currently, they are working as an Analyst at Aegir Insights, starting in March 2023.

Karan Dharaiya has a diverse education history. Karan completed their MSc in Sustainable Energy, specializing in Bioenergy, from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, from the years 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, in 2015, they pursued a Post Graduate program in Process Engineering at MIT Skills. Karan completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat, from 2011 to 2015.

In addition, Karan has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In August 2021, they earned a certification in "Macroeconomics for a Sustainable Planet" from edX. Karan became a Student Consultant at Conflux in May 2021 and received a certificate. In October 2020, they obtained a "Certificate of Completion - Journey 2020" from Climate-KIC. Karan completed a course on "Communicating with Transparency" from LinkedIn in August 2020, and in April 2020, they completed the "Learn to Code in Python 3: Programming beginner to advanced" course from Udemy. In March 2020, they completed the "MATLAB Onramp - Online Course" offered by MathWorks. Their earliest certification is in "Global Environmental Management," which they acquired from Coursera in November 2017.
