Joseph Murphy

Joseph Murphy has a strong background in internal audit and risk management. Joseph worked as the Senior Vice President of Internal Audit at AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc., where they implemented a risk-based program and presented results to the board and management. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at Accume Partners, specializing in producing value-added solutions to control and risk challenges. Joseph also served as a Governor at the Institute of Internal Auditors. Earlier in their career, they were a Firm Director at Deloitte & Touche, where they developed a multi-million dollar practice and led quality control and risk assessment. Joseph also worked as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on insurance, securities, and technology. Joseph started their career as a Department Manager of Internal Audit at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Joseph Murphy attended Summit High from 1969 to 1972. Joseph later attended Kean University from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Computer Science. In 1993, they enrolled at Lehigh University College of Business and completed a Masters in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance, General in 1995.
