Andreea Ion

Andreea Ion is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Finance Manager and Senior Investment Controller at Aegon Asset Management since February 2021. Prior to this, Andreea worked at KPMG Nederland from January 2017 to December 2020 as an Assistant Manager and Supervisor, and at KPMG Romania from September 2013 to December 2016 as a Senior Auditor. Additional experience includes an internship at ING in 2013 and another internship at ProCredit Bank in 2012. Andreea's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Finances, Insurance, Banks, and Stock Exchange from Academia de Studii Economice din București. The educational journey began with a high school degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from IANCU C. VISSARION. Andreea is also a member of ACCA.
