Remco Flapper

Remco Flapper has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Remco currently works at Aegon Asset Management as the Strategy Lead Private Markets and has been in this role since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager Alternative Investments at Aegon Asset Management from September 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Aegon, Remco worked at TKP Investments, now known as Aegon Asset Management, where they were a Senior Portfolio Manager Alternative Investments from September 2010 to September 2020. Remco also gained experience as a Senior Portfolio Manager at AEGON Asset Management from March 2008 to August 2010. Prior to that, Remco worked as the Head of Risk at Shell Asset Management Company from 2006 to 2008, and as a Trader hedge fund products and Risk Manager at NIBC Bank from 1998 to 2006. Remco began their career as a Financial Analyst at AXA from 1996 to 1998.

Remco Flapper completed their Master's degree in Economics from the University of Groningen from 1990 to 1996. Remco then pursued postgraduate studies in Treasury Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1997 to 1999.
