Joe has been involved with building assessments, capital planning and asset management industry for the last fifteen years. Prior to this period Joe has worked extensively in project management and system design in the electrical distribution and transmission fields.
Joe has developed a particular concentration and expertise in the field of skilled nursing and assisted living facility assessments for financing and acquisition. Previously Joe led projects requiring capital planning analysis for all state owned properties for the state of New Mexico and has been responsible for the direction and logistic coordination of the building condition assessment survey (BCAS) of the entirety of New York City public schools for the New York State School Construction Authority (SCA), considered to be the gold standard in building assessments nationwide.
Joe has bachelor degrees in mechanical engineering, political science, and a juris doctorate. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the U.S. Green Building Council, the National Fire Protection Association – Electrical Section, the CRE Finance Council, and ASTM.
