Joe Yusko

Joe Yusko has a vast work experience spanning several roles and companies. Joe is currently serving as the Manager of Cloud Infrastructure at AEM since September 2022. In this role, they are responsible for managing and securing a large-scale, multi-region, multi-vendor cloud infrastructure primarily utilizing AWS and Microsoft Azure. Joe'steam consists of system and database administrators, and their focus is on the availability, maintenance, security, modernization, and scalability of all cloud-based IAAS.

Before joining AEM, Joe worked at Earth Networks, where they held various positions over the years. From 2011 to 2022, they served as a Senior Cloud Administrator, where they achieved significant cost savings and implemented a system for monitoring the mapping system using Lambda and DynamoDB. Prior to that, from 1994 to 2011, Joe worked in different positions at Earth Networks, including IT Director and IT Manager. During their tenure as IT Director, they managed datacenter operations before transitioning to the cloud. As an IT Manager, they were responsible for various IT tasks, and as a System Administrator, they played a crucial role in various aspects of day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, training, technical support, and help desk. Joe also created a Microsoft Access database for the company.

Joe Yusko attended McGuffey High School from 1985 to 1989. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following high school, they enrolled in Washington & Jefferson College from 1989 to 1993 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on the general field.
