DeLome Fair has extensive work experience in the engineering and energy industries. DeLome started their career at GE Energy in 2004, where they worked as a Gasification and IGCC Principal Engineer, leading teams in the development of a 630 MW IGCC reference plant. In 2008, they transitioned to the role of Chief Consulting Engineer Gasification Technology and later became the General Manager of Gasification and Process Systems Engineering. At GE Energy, they were responsible for providing consulting, reviewing design practices, and overseeing gasification technology.
In 2015, DeLome Fair joined Synthesis Energy Systems, Inc. as the President and Chief Executive Officer. DeLome also held the positions of President of SES Technologies, LLC and Senior Vice President of Technology. During their time at Synthesis Energy Systems, they focused on leading the company and its subsidiaries, as well as overseeing technology development.
From 2019 to 2023, DeLome Fair worked at KP Engineering, LP, where they held various roles including Program Manager & Chief Engineer and Principal Syngas Process Engineer. DeLome contributed to the development of syngas and hydrogen projects.
Currently, DeLome Fair is the Vice President of Engineering at Utility Global, a position they started in 2023.
DeLome Fair attended The University of Kansas from 1981 to 1987, where they earned a MSCHE degree in Chemical Engineering.
