Enrique Maurer Somolinos

An aeronautical engineering graduate of the Polytechnic University of Madrid specialising in air navigation and transport, Mr Maurer undertook the General Management Programme at the IESE Business School in 2010.

Until joining Aena in 1994 he worked for DHL Worldwide Express and Dragados. At Aena he developed his professional career in the air navigation area, in the field of communication navigation and surveillance (CNS).

From March 2012 until March 2017 he was the ENAIRE systems director, responsible for managing the CNS and technical operation and information systems.

He was appointed Air Navigation Services Director in March 2017.
