Erik Renteria, MBA, has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily with Aera Energy LLC since 2014, where roles included Real Estate Supervisor and various engineering positions, culminating as Production Engineer - Team Lead. Key responsibilities encompassed overseeing failure rates of producing wells, conducting root cause failure analysis, managing plug and abandonment operations across multiple oil fields, and optimizing pumping unit designs. Additionally, Erik served as an MBA Consultant at SAP, conducting market analysis and developing strategic frameworks. Leadership experience includes serving as Student Chapter President for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where the chapter achieved Gold Chapter status after Erik's tenure.
